I had been following kidpik on social media for quite some time now, and loved all of their different styles. I had never done a clothing subscription box service for the girls before. I was always skeptical of the quality of the clothes and the hassle of getting through the process, not to mention the commitment of a subscription box. But this is not an ordinary subscription box service, I would describe it more like a personal stylist service. The best part is there is no fee for that! You are only paying for the clothes and there is no commitment. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this service is to use.

Each piece of the fashionable outfits are designed and curated in their NYC studio.

When we evacuated for Hurricane Irma to NYC, we visited our friends over at Nina Kids Shoes. They so kindly introduced us to the people over at kidpik, and we had an amazing opportunity to tour their headquarters and meet many of the staff. This was totally unplanned which just blew our minds. It was the day the storm was hitting and we were so nervous. I was just trying to keep the girls occupied and keep our minds off of what was going on back home. The kidpik staff welcomed us with open arms and showed us around. They generously offered for each girl to help curate their own box!* They even got to try on their favorite looks, and we all headed across the street to Union Square Park for an impromptu little photo shoot! I’m sharing this all with you to show you the heart and soul behind the company. The staff there gave us a gift much greater than the fabulous boxes of clothing; they treated us so kindlyand provided us with such a fun day that would have otherwise been pretty grim. The memory of that day and the people we met will not soon be forgotten.

Now that you know a bit about how we came to partner* with kidpik, I want to tell you more about this innovative company.

donations

We are really impressed with how easy kidpik has made it for girls to help other girls. kidpik has partnered with Good + Foundation which works with a “national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated goods and services.”

Just affix the donation sticker included in your box to the outside of your return envelope and kidpik will facilitate your donation of the new unworn clothing items.

We are all about Giving + Glamour + Girl Power too!

UNboxing video

We made a YouTube Unboxing video so you can see all of the clothes and hear our description of the items.  We generously received these boxes complimentary and kidpik allowed the girls to select many of their own pieces when we visited their studio. We show you how the clothes arrive and what our boxes included. We go through and describe each piece of clothing and the shoes. You can watch the video here:

We will be posting another video of fun behind the scenes footage of when we visited the kidpik headquarters in New York City. We fell in love with this company even more when we met the kind, generous people who work there. We think you’ll be just as happy with it too!
