Ava Claus & Friends Give Back to Kids in Need all Year Long
The holidays were very happy for the kids at Broward Children Center thanks to Ava Claus and her Elves.
Ava is a 13 year old girl from Miami who started a charity at just 6 years old when she learned about the word “donation”. Ava’s mom and I have been friends for over 15 years and I am so proud to call their family my friends.
Ava was selected for NBC6’s Fierce Female Friday just before Winter Break and we were honored to be part of her Kids Committee there to support her. She was the youngest female interviewed by Arlene Borenstein and you can watch the news clip here.
This week’s Fierce Female Friday is a local teen helping kids in need for the holidays.
NBC6’s Arlene Borenstein reports.

The holidays may be over but Ava Claus and her Elves work all year long raising money to help kids in need. The children she helps are treated at Broward Children’s Center.
When I first became a trained Ambassador with KindnessMatters365.org (formerly Samaritans365.org), Ava Claus was the first non-profit I booked to come speak to our after school club at our Elementary School. You can read all about my interview with her here.
Keep up with Ava Claus & Friends
Although the holiday toy drive is her largest event, Ava has fundraisers and activities all year long. To learn more, visit:
